Governor wants national security services to take control of Wau

Governor of Wau State says the state is in urgent need for forces of the National Security Service and the Police to restore peace and stability.
Andrea Mayar Acho was addressing organised forces on the current security situation in Wau town on Tuesday
” The government aim is to address civilians’ daily complaints against the presence of SPLA soldiers in the area. Salaries of all civil servants and security organs will be reduced and used for the accommodation of the coming security personnel from Juba”, says the Governor.
 Mayar pledges to provide all necessary support for them to carry out their work for peace to prevail in the state.
