The President of the United States Barrack Obama said that the conflict in the country has been under reported for the past years. Among the many things President Obama mentioned in his last news conference — Russian hacking, Donald Trump’s transition, Ronald Reagan rolling over in his grave — and the war in South Sudan.

“I feel responsible for murder and slaughter that’s taken place in South Sudan that’s not being reported on, partly because there’s not as much social media being generated from there,”Obama said.

However, most media houses say Obama is not right. While it might be the case that social media is not always buzzing with the atrocities of South Sudan, it’s not true that there’s silence from the news media.

“Kevin Sieff of the Washington Post spent a week covering the conflict there among a list of several other journalists”, said a media pundit.
