A top commander with the rank of a major general in the Shilluk militia, was killed in last week clashes on west bank areas near Malakal town in Eastern Nile between Aguelek and SPLA last week, a spokesman of the Aguelek forces said.
Aguelek forces are an ethnic Shilluk militia aligned with the SPLM-IO rebel group and commanded by General Johnson Olony.
Maj. Gen. Nyagwal Ajak Deng, the group’s military spokesman, in a statement yesterday said that the SPLA-IO rebel faction of Riek Machar lost Maj. Gen.
